Alexa Lauren and Paul O' Neill teamed up for a fantastic new mural in downtown Lake Wales. This mural features a plethora of different insects with a focus on butterflies and some pretty magnolia flowers. This mural has added to a growing mural scene in downtown Lake Wales. Welcome To My Orchid Garden is a beautiful mural pained by Central Florida native MaryCruz Ruiz, this mural was painted as a gift to MaryCruz' hardworking parents who've worked tirelessly over the years in helping grow their family business Haines City Flowers into a community staple. Ruiz worked day and night for nearly two months while her family was away, heling run the store and painting the mural while her parents were away. This mural represents the strength, resilience and beauty of MaryCruz' family, who worked incredibly hard to gain their citizenship, build their life from zero and create a future for their children. Chain of Lakes Park has opened in 2025 and will serve as a premier sports destination for diamond sports. Home of the RussMatt College Invitational among other high profile sports tournaments, Chain of Lakes Park will help develop the next generation of athletes while paying tribute to past generations that played in the original stadium, which was home to the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians. Gillian Fazio has painted another beautiful mural which pays homage to the historic city of Winter Haven, this mural includes gators, oranges, baseballs, fish and water skiing, which grew to worldwide fame at Cypress Gardens which operated a few miles down the road.
The Angel Selfie Wall is a mural painted by Aaron Corbitt in 2016, located behind local favorite Born & Bread Bakehouse. This mural has become a staple in Lakeland over recent years and has become a very popular location for people looking for some creative social media photos or to show off what they have ordered from Born & Bread.
"Sticky Steve" is a mural created by Paul O'Neill, this mural honors his good friend "Sticky Steve" Harrison, who's an influential figure in Polk County as a nature conservationist. Despite being abstract minimalist, this mural is incredibly detailed, especially when looking at the shadows that are casted by the sun behind Steve. O' Neill has created several murals throughout Central Florida and is heavily involved in the Lake Wales art scene. This mural is located on the exterior wall of one of Winter Haven's finest dining establishments, Honeycomb Bread Bakers. O'Neill recently returned to add more of his artwork to the Honeycomb building, this time painting an abstract version of the 'Garden of Eden'. While at Honeycomb, make sure to stop in and get some delicious baked goods and use the Sunshine Savings Pass to get 10% off your bill.
Located in Traders Alley in Downtown Lakeland, The Magnolia Mural is a vibrant painting that was designed by Maegan Carroll-Simmons. Seen in the mural is a Southern magnolia, an iconic flower that can be seen all throughout north and Central Florida.
The Downtown City Mural was designed and painted by the late, great Tom Freeman in the 1990s. This mural gives the viewer a glimpse of what downtown Lake Wales looked like nearly a century ago. Freeman who's a notable Lake Wales figure has several murals around the city which take you back in time. This mural was meant to show Lake Wales during the late 1920s and early 1930s, when it was still in it's early stages. The mural was touched up by Lisa Moore back in 2007, she helped bring the painting back to it's original glory, and even added some of her own flair.
Located on the exterior wall of Zest Bar and Grill in Downtown Bartow, this brand new mural is a vibrant addition to the growing cultural arts scene in the city of Bartow, Created by Andres Cardona of Base Art, this mural features a giant bee surrounded by a plethora of Florida's native oranges.

Community, Winter Haven's newest mural created by Alexa Lauren is located on the exterior wall of Haven Coffee Roasters. Community is used to describe the tight knit community that Winter Haven features, it should stand as a message that we need to build each other up in the community and inspire each other. Make sure to stop into Haven Coffee Roasters and grab a free cup of drip coffee with the Sunshine Savings Pass and take a picture in front of the mural.
Echoes of Resilience is one of Lakeland's newest murals. Situated just outside the RP Funding Center, Echoes of Resilience painted by Samara Ash and sponsored by the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation highlights Florida's rich biodiversity and the importance of conservation within the state of Florida. The mural displays some of Florida's most important species, featured are a Florida panther, river otter, great horned owl, pied- billed grebes, monarch butterfly and native trees. This mural serves a reminder that we need to preserve Florida's natural beauty and culture. Certainly a must stop on your Mural Magic adventure.
